Click me to vote for Tate Kids (you will be taken to a new window - please come back!)
Me again,
Just found out that Tate Kids has been nominated for a Webby Award. These are like Oscars, but for the Internet. So again, I’m super super pleased. We are in the Youth category with MTV, Marvel and National Geographic which is too cool.
There is also a public vote – if we get the most votes we win. I would really appreciate it if you could ask your parents if it is OK to send a vote our way. You might need their help to to this and the Webby website is a bit difficult to use. Even for me, and I use the internet pretty much all day, every day.
So anyway, I’ve left some instructions for you below. We have until April 30th and we find out the result some point in June.
Fingers crossed and many thanks!!

- Click on “Register now to vote” – it looks like this:

Find this image on the page to start voting
- Fill in your details (again, please check this is OK with your parents)
- Click send
- You will get a email from the Webby Awards. Click on the link in the email
- You will go to the Webby site, and you will be signed in, hurrah!
- Click on the text that says Website. It’s near the top. It looks like this:

Click on Website

Click this and scroll all the way to the bottom
- If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you’ll see Youth. Click it
- Then give Tate Kids a vote (you know you want to!)

The Museums and Web Conference logo
Hi Everyone,
I’m writing this from Chicago O’Hare Airport, on a really rainy Sunday afternoon. Anyway – This week, I went to Indiana, USA to a conference to talk about Museums and websites, and guess what? We won an award for Best Educational Website 2009! I’m sooo happy and just wanted to thank you all coming visiting Tate Kids. With your help we can make it even better for 2010.
Also some of you have noticed that you can now comment on these news stories, so please do.
Today I’m asking:
I have some money to make a new game – what game should I make?
Let me know!
